I had gone into the garage for a minute and not told them. I came back in and could not find them, they had gone out the front door looking for me. Luckily my neighbor found them running down the street and brought them home. <br /><br />We then put in locks high so they couldn't open the door,but thank-fully my neighbor understood and didn't call the police and made things worse. <br /><br />Even our best efforts can't guarantee those little ones from wandering.<br /><br />Good eye. I think it's good you're not judging the mom. We have a gate we usually close when the grandchildren are over, but yesterday it got missed and our newly-mobile toddler was halfway down the driveway in a moment. <br /><br />I bet this kid just saw other kids playing and wanted to join in, with no thought of the consequences.
